RentPlay Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

RentPlay Inc. ("RentPlay", "we", "us", "our") provides a community rewards platform for renters ("Users") to earn points through our SuperSaver system by reporting rent and uploading receipts from local partner businesses ("Merchants"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the RentPlay platform.

2. Definitions

  • "Services" – the RentPlay website, app, and any related features
  • "Points" – non-cash reward units earned by users through receipt uploads
  • "SuperSaver Mode" – activated by monthly rent reporting, provides 2X points on first 5 purchases
  • "Merchant" – a local business participating in the RentPlay program
  • "Account" – your personal registration with RentPlay
  • "Reward" – $5 cash payout, subject to eligibility

3. Account Eligibility

  • Be 18 years or older
  • Have an active rental agreement
  • Provide truthful rent details and receipt uploads from partner stores
  • Keep your login credentials secure

4. SuperSaver Rewards Program

  • Report rent between the 1st-4th of each month to unlock SuperSaver mode (no points awarded for rent reporting)
  • Earn 1000 points (2X bonus) per receipt upload for your first 5 purchases from RentPlay partner businesses each month while SuperSaver is active
  • Earn 500 points per receipt upload after your 5 SuperSaver uses are exhausted
  • Redeem 5,000 points for a $5 cash reward via Interac e-Transfer
  • Points are earned through receipt uploads, not check-ins or visits
  • SuperSaver mode resets monthly after rent reporting
  • Points hold no cash value until redemption criteria are met
  • Cash redemptions are fulfilled within 7 business days of approval
  • Rewards may be limited monthly depending on program funds and fraud monitoring
  • RentPlay may change the point value or reward structure with advance notice

5. Merchant Participation

  • Merchants fund the rewards through monthly subscriptions
  • Listings and offers may change or end at any time
  • RentPlay does not guarantee the experience or service provided by any merchant

6. User Conduct & Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts for:

  • Falsifying rent or receipt data
  • Abusing or manipulating the system
  • Breaching any part of these Terms
  • RentPlay also reserves the right to discontinue or modify the program with 30 days' notice

7. Limitation of Liability

  • RentPlay is not responsible for payment delays outside our control
  • Loss of access to points due to inactivity
  • Actions of third-party merchants or partners
  • Any indirect or incidental damages from use of the platform
