Is there a fee to use RentPlay?
No, RentPlay is completely free for renters. There are no hidden fees, no subscription costs, and no charges for using our platform. We partner with local businesses to bring you exclusive discounts and rewards, and we never take a cut from your savings or coins. The only money you'll spend is your regular rent payment and the purchases you make at partner stores.
How do I pay my rent through RentPlay?
You can pay rent via e-Transfer or Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) through our secure payment partner, ZUM Rails.
How do the savings work?
When you pay rent through RentPlay, you unlock up to 7% off at partner stores. Every purchase at these stores earns you 2% back in coins, which you can use for future rent payments or gift vouchers. The conversion rate is 100 coins = $1 in rent credit.
Where can I use my RentPlay discounts?
You can use your RentPlay discounts at our network of local participating businesses within approximately 15 miles of your home. This includes restaurants, retail stores, and service providers in your area. From local cafes to grocery stores, fitness centers to entertainment venues, you'll find exclusive offers at businesses that support your community.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes, all payment processing is handled by ZUM Rails, a PCI-compliant payment processor. RentPlay never stores your payment information.
What happens if I move?
Your coins stay with you! You can update your address and landlord information in the app and continue enjoying discounts at local businesses near your new location.
How do I track my savings and coins?
You can track your discounts, coins balance, and browse available offers through our mobile app or website dashboard.
